The Toyota bZ all-electric SUV introduces significant enhancements, including up to 314 miles of estimated range, faster charging capabilities with Tesla’s NACS compatibility and Plug and Charge functionality, a more refined exterior featuring body-colored panels, and an upgraded interior with a 14-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

7. Offering up to 124 miles of pure electric range, the new XC70 is Volvo Cars’ longest-range plug-in hybrid yet, combining Scandinavian design, extended-range capability, and SUV versatility to meet growing demand for lower-emission driving, especially in the Chinese market.

8. A grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center will enable the installation of on-street EV charging stations at up to three sites in Brookline by late 2026, with full technical and financial support covering up to 30 Level 2 charging ports at no cost to the Town.

9. QuantumScape's stock surged 14% following Toyota's announcement of a major shift toward EVs and a potential breakthrough in solid-state battery technology, which bolstered investor confidence in QuantumScape's own solid-state battery developments.
