  1. Marking a milestone in electromobility, BMW Group produced its three millionth electrified vehicle, a BMW 330e plug-in hybrid, and celebrated delivery of its 1.5 millionth fully EV.

  2. A breakthrough in lithium metal battery technology by CATL has achieved over 500 Wh/kg energy density and a 483-cycle life by identifying electrolyte salt consumption as the key failure driver, marking a critical step toward commercial viability for long-range EVs and electric aviation.

  3. Recipient of the Beyond Impact Award at the 5th BEYOND Expo in Macau, U Power Limited was recognized for its battery-swapping ecosystem that advances environmental, societal, economic, and technological goals.

  4. Kia America has announced pricing for the 2026 EV9 three-row electric SUV, with models ranging from $54,900 for the Light SR to $71,900 for the GT-Line (excluding $1,495 destination fee). The key updates for 2026 include a new Nightfall Edition package for the Land AWD trim featuring blacked-out styling elements, increased electric range on select models up to 305 miles, and the addition of Terrain Mode on all AWD trims.
