EV Headlines
Ford Motor Company
On top of the release of the Lightning truck last week, Ford makes some more EV announcements. First, Ford announced 2 additional EV platforms this week. Ford also boosted their targeted spending on EVs from $22 billion to $30 billion by 2030. They also want EVs to make up for 40% of their volume.
Long Island makes up a third of all EV sales in NY. Part of the reason for this is in part because of the incentives offered to Long Island's residents. The power company offers a $500 credit towards an EV charger and also offers cashback for off-peak charging. This is on top of NY’s $2,000 rebate for the purchase of an EV and the federal tax credit of $7,500. Brush up on your EV tax credits.
Do you know what country has the most EVs in the world?
