1. The National Auto Fleet Group will facilitate fleet vehicle purchasing for state and local government and educational institutions, offering Mullen's all-electric commercial vehicles with up to $45,000 cash vouchers at purchase.

2. Zongmu Technology aims to commercialize FlashBot, an electric-vehicle charging robot with L4 autonomous driving capability and a 104 kWh capacity, addressing the global demand for charging infrastructure, with plans for expansion overseas and initial launch in tier one cities in China.

7. In April 2024, XPENG achieved a 33% year-on-year increase in vehicle deliveries, totaling 9,393 Smart EVs, with the X9 MPV reaching nearly 10,000 cumulative deliveries since its launch in January.

8. Expanding its electromobility business, Rheinmetall secures two major orders for its innovative plug-and-play heat pump solution from clients specializing in electric bus retrofits and off-road electric vehicles.

9. Loosening rules under the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, the U.S. government adjusts electric vehicle tax credits, with values ranging from $3,750 to $7,500 for new EVs and $4,000 for used ones, aiming to boost EV demand to meet a goal of half of all new vehicle sales being electric by 2030. 

10. Alto, a Dallas-based ride-hailing company, is rolling out its first electric vehicle fleet, starting with 12 Kia EV-9s, with plans to add another 100 electric vehicles in Dallas by the end of the year, aiming to lead the industry in green fleets.

11. Construction is underway on a test bed in Indiana to develop wireless charging for electric vehicles traveling at highway speeds, led by Purdue University engineers and the Indiana Department of Transportation.

12. The wide-ranging pact signed between the French government and the automotive industry sets ambitious targets for electric vehicle sales, aiming for a fourfold increase in 100% EV sales to 800,000 per year by 2027, along with a sixfold increase for electric light commercial vehicles to 100,000 per year.
