1. During the launch of Tesla Center Philippines, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. encouraged Tesla to manufacture electric vehicles in the Philippines while highlighting government policies like tax exemptions and the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act that support EV adoption. The President emphasized that Tesla's presence not only aids environmental sustainability but also empowers the local workforce, with the company building a generation of Filipinos equipped to lead in the global shift towards sustainable technologies.

2. Autotrader has introduced EV battery health scores on its used electric vehicle listings, giving potential buyers critical information about battery performance and usable range before purchase, with access to over 19,000 listings containing this data.

3. A new incentive has been announced for 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 customers, who will receive either a complimentary ChargePoint home charger or a $400 charging credit that can be used across multiple charging networks. This offer is available for all IONIQ 5 trim levels, including the N performance variant.

4. Canoo, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. 1  This means the company will be liquidated, and a court-appointed trustee will oversee the sale of its assets to pay creditors. 

5. The first NEVI-funded EV charging station in Colorado has opened in Frisco, featuring 12 chargers, the most for any NEVI-funded station. This station, located off I-70, aims to meet growing EV demand in the state, which already boasts substantial tax credits and a growing charging infrastructure.

6. Rolls-Royce will launch its second electric vehicle in 2025, following the success of the Spectre.

7. A $1 billion EV production facility in Indonesia, with an annual capacity of 150,000 units, is being constructed by Chinese EV manufacturer BYD.

8. At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Maruti Suzuki unveiled its first electric SUV, the eVITARA, built on the HEARTECT-e platform with a 500+ km range. The company is supporting the launch with extensive charging infrastructure and service networks across India, while planning to export the vehicle to over 100 countries.

9. Vianode has been selected by General Motors as a strategic supplier of high-performance anode graphite. This multi-billion-dollar agreement involves developing large-scale manufacturing capacity in North America and supplying synthetic anode graphite to GM starting in 2027, contributing to the strengthening of the North American EV supply chain.

10. Lucid Group announced Canadian pricing for its upcoming Lucid Gravity SUV, with the Touring model starting at $113,500 CAD and the Grand Touring at $134,500 CAD. The Grand Touring model, boasting 828 horsepower and a projected range exceeding 720 kilometers, will be available for pre-order soon.
