At the grand opening of its first California dealership in San Diego, VinFast showcased its VF 8 and VF 9 electric SUVs as part of a broader U.S. expansion strategy to grow its EV dealership network.
The all-new 2026 Nissan LEAF, starting at $29,990, offers up to 303 miles of range, advanced tech features, and seamless charging access, making it the most affordable new EV in the U.S. while delivering more value than ever.
Commercial production of electric vehicle batteries has begun at BlueOval SK’s Kentucky 1 facility in Hardin County, powering Ford’s all-electric F-150 Lightning, marking the state’s largest economic development project, creating 1,450 jobs, and strengthening the domestic EV supply chain.
Taking place August 23 at Lanier Raceway in Georgia, Silent Thunder 2025 will pit EVs against internal combustion engines in high-octane autocross, drifting, and oval-track drag competitions for a head-to-head EV vs ICE showdown.
In just ten months, Ford Power Promise has provided over 12,000 customers across all 50 states with complimentary home chargers and installation, helping EV owners save time and money, reduce range anxiety, and make home charging the primary source of energy for their EVs.
Between 2025 and 2026, NIO will enter Singapore, Uzbekistan, and Costa Rica through local distribution partners, introducing its first right-hand drive model and using its NIO, ONVO, and firefly brands to bring smart EVs to new global markets.
With a $463M Series D led by SK, Group14 took full control of its South Korea joint venture to scale SCC55 silicon battery production, already supplying EV-scale factories serving over 100 EV and electronics manufacturers worldwide.
Oregon secured over $40 million in restored federal NEVI funds to build about 60 EV fast-charging stations along 11 major highways, with the first opening in early 2026.
Fly-E Group, an EV maker of smart electric motorcycles, bikes, and scooters, reported Q1 FY2026 revenues down 32.3% to $5.3M with EV unit sales falling 6,432 to 10,448, gross margin improving to 42.4%, and net loss widening to $2.0M.
